Horses

Behaviour problems in horses are wide and diverse, and can have serious implications for the safety and welfare of both owner / handler / rider and horse. Generally, horse owners refer to trainers / instructors for help with behaviour problems, but such professionals may not have the extensive knowledge or understanding to assist with all problems, which perhaps explains why alternative methods (such as natural horsemanship) have become so popular. But such methods do not suit all people or horses.
Equine behaviour therapy provides owners with a highly professional service, based on scientific theory, in respect to equine ethology, learning theory, care and management. Any training required will not use force, bullying or horse whispering methods. My techniques are kind, fair and effective, not restricted to a particular 'method', but are appropriate to the problem and the horse and owner. It may also be appropriate to change routines and management, feeding and supplements, environmental enrichment etc.
